The first pic is of Addie's first door crayon art....I was doing the dishes and she was coloring on the floor ON PAPER, when she came up to me pointing saying " aw, aw" so I followed her and sure enough there was some great blue crayon art on the bathroom door...bless the bright person that invented washable crayons.

Second pic is my first batch of German Pancakes, as you can see they turned out AWESOME and were SUPER YUMMY!!!

Weekend Fun!

We were lucky enough to have Grammie Glor in town with us this weekend. She is so helpful with Addie, and they are just crazy about each other. Glor took Addie to a dinner with her sister, and Brian and I were able to get away and he had some boy time playing XBOX 360 with some friends, and I was able to go to dinner with the girls, run around at target KID FREE, and watch a movie.....It was awesome to get recharged and know that we have no worries with leaving Addie with her. I am retarded and some how didn't take any pics of Addie and Grammie. So these are some random pics from this last week....and weekend!

A re-discovery

Its far too late for me to be up, but I've just spent the last hour or so reading something that will in no way shape or form benefit my life, but helped me realize yet again that AFI is probably the greatest band ever. There had been a mystery floating around for the past 2 years that I sort of kept up on, it was a fun brain teaser and I guess it all was finally solved and things finally came to a close so it was nice to kind of hear the end result. If anyone reading this is actually curious and has some free time feel free to read about it, lots of twists and turns!

Addie's new love!

Grammie Gloria got Addie a little play kitchen, she LOVES it and things she is big stuff now. I had loads of fun putting it together, it came in a million peices and took me 3 hours. The things that I do for my child...

New Day...New Job!

So today was my first day in a very new work environment. I can now call myself a Digital Content Developer, sounds professional huh? Actually its not quite that glamorous, I work a LOT with XML but the job is good steady work as far as I can tell and I'm sure I will learn a ton and get some good work experience. We had a meeting this morning as a team and I really began to get an appreciation for how brilliant some of my co-workers are, which makes me even more excited about this new venture. The day was relatively uneventful because my work login did not get transfered to the correct server so we had to wait nearly half a day till I had access to the necessary tools. Fortunately once I was able to access everything I was off and running and I started to get some real work done, so I was proud of myself. :)

Anyway, I will keep everyone posted as things progress.

P.S. - As of tonight I'm down to 14 classes till graduation.

Our First Blog..

We decited to try and keep up with the world and do a blog. We had a page on babysites.com but I just can't seem to find the time to sit down and upload all the photos and post, so I though if I just do a little every few days that would be a bit easier.
