As many of you probably already know, my mom and brother have had to evacuate their home in San Diego due to the wildfires in the area. The fires are so vast this time, that literally every person I know in San Diego is affected by these fires. Most have had to evacuate themselves, and if they haven't then one of their family members have had to. Its hard to read the news and realize so many familiar locations from growing up have been burned to the ground and that so many people that I care about, may lose their homes along with everything else they own that is in them. The picture on the right above is a signpost near my mom's old bosses home, which we've all been to many times. To all who read this, please keep everyone who is affected by these fires in your prayers.

My heart goes out to your mom and everyone else. I have an aunt and uncle in San Diego who were also evacuated Monday (grabbed pictures and financial papers and everything else they could fit in their car.. they're now in Oregon, not knowing when they can go back or what they'll be going back to). It's all very surreal. We'll most definitely keep your family in our prayers.
