Two things...First..My child woke up at 5, yes 5 a.m. this morning!!! Why? I have no clue! I don't do very well that early in the morning. So long story short, I am tried, and I know today is going to be loads of fun. She is going to be overly tired come noon right when I have plans to meet up with a friend and her little guy.
Two...Heavenly Father is totally watching out for us. Brian got a random call today from his uncle that signed all of our closing papers for our house saying he got a check in the mail for us. WHAT?? REALLY?? Something about left over money from Escro or something...but we could USE that money right now. We are very blessed!

A little start..
I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and found some clips, they didn't have teeth but the ones I got held really well in Addie's hair. I went and got a few things at Joann's and off I went. I think some turned out better then others but you gotta start somewhere, right? Brian HATES big bows or big hair things so I stuck with some smaller stuff.

HELP!!!
Alright this is my dilemma. I want to make a few hair clips and bows for Addie. For all the crafty chicks out there that have made some where do you get the clips like this? I have found them on ebay but I would rather just buy them at a store..
Any tips and tricks you want to share?? I would be very grateful!

Yum!
A few days a week I will make a fruit smoothie in the morning, and oh how Addie LOVES them!! 90% of the time she drinks hers and wants some of mine...They are super easy to make and very yummy.
This is how much our little monkey loves them...she just has to get every last drop..
The proof on her face...
This is what I put in ours...
1/2 cup of mixed berry fruit
1 banana
1/4 cup milk
1/4 of light and fit vanilla yogurt
I use our Magic Bullet and it works awesome! Enjoy!

Yay for the Zoo!
My awesome friend April invited Addie and I to go to the Phoenix Zoo with her and her girls. We had so much fun! They now have a bunch of little playground areas and it is AWESOME for little kids! I think we spend more time playing then looking at the animals, but it perfect!
This little play ground was a little people by play school!
Addie driving...watch out!

Our new found favorite game is Pit..You can play with 4 people or more. We play games a lot with some of Brian's cousins, and I found this game in our game box and we had never played it. I pulled it out and we gave it a try about a week or so ago, we have been hooked ever since. It is some what loud but super duper fun. Get some friends together and give it a try..
They have a Deluxe Pit, but at far as I know the only difference is a bell...we just went and got a bell from Staples.

A morning at the park
Addie decided to wake up way to early this morning, so I thought well we are up we might as well take Brian to work and go play at the park. We packed up her bike and off we went.
Cruising around on the bike..Sippy and baby in the basket.
Chasing the birds..
Swingin like Peter Pan..
Climbing the stairs to get to the crazy slide...
Laughing all the way down the slide..
The smiles at the bottom of the slide..
Silly girl
She is always trying to do things "all by myself" and this one still makes me nervous.
She was starting to get kinda tired from running all around. She was watching a little girl and her dog running around...I thought this pic was cute.
She was so serious..
Over all we had a great time playing at the park...p.s it was 83 today here.

Tumbling and other things..
I had thought a while ago about getting Addie into some class to burn some of her energy. A great friend had told me that the YMCA has tumbling classes for 2-4 year olds, I thought she would love it. For her birthday Glor and her sister Dar gave us money to put towards the classes. We know have enough money for tumbling classes for the next 7 months..
Today was the first class and of course me being the mother of the year that I am, we were a little late. It was more a mommy and me class then just the kids and the teacher. She had a great time, and burned some energy. I am thinking about putting her in another class, she would have something twice a week just to get out a bit more. They are pretty booked up right now, maybe after this class we can do that. I didn't take any pictures because I was doing everything with her today but I am hoping I can take some next class.
On to the next thought...I was watching Oprah (some may laugh here) last week and something she said kinda hit home for me. She was talking about her weight and how she had fallen off the wagon or more so the wagon had fallen on her as she said. I think for a lot of woman me included have issues with weight, or finding that number or size that "we will be happy when we get there." She went on to say we just need to be grateful to our bodies for holding up through everything we have done to it, our bodies have never let us down. We need to treat our bodies better. I am going to make a huge effort to go on more walks in the morning and get myself moving a little more.

Google...
Have you ever googled your last name?? After Brian told me that an old co-worker of his googled our last name and found our blog, I started thinking maybe I should do it and see what happens. I just did it and our blog is the 2nd yes 2nd thing on the list when you google Krainock...that kinda freaked me out a little. Just a thought, maybe you should google your last name and see what comes up.

Just need to vent...
So while we were in Idaho and almost all the family was together ( we were missing Chris' kids) we thought it would be a good idea to go have a big family picture taken. Everything went well during the shoot and now a little over a week later I find out for ONE just ONE 8x10 this dude charges $60 bucks. I'm I crazy or is that a heck of a lot of money for one picture. I would love to buy a pic of each one of the siblings family but with 4 at 60 bucks a pop that is NUTS! I am so bugged. GRRR.....

New Years Eve
On the road again...
We decided to leave a day early because there was a huge snow storm coming in. We headed out around noon on Saturday and headed for Salt Lake City to stay with my cousin Jen again. We arrived safely around 5ish, ate dinner at Cafe rio ( one of our favorite places), and headed to Jen's house. After hanging out for a bit we thought it would be fun to go see the temple square lights. Addie didn't want to come, she wanted to stay and play with Gma Lynne. In the end I am glad she didn't come cause it was VERY cold.
Addie LOVED Gma Lynne
The Salt Lake City Temple
Brian and Me
Jen and Me
Jen and her hubby Tyson
We had a great time in SLC...Thanks Jen for everything...love you tons..
The next morning we headed for Vegas to crash at Pat and Joyce's house. Joyce is always great about keeping Addie busy with something. When we got in she had cookies and frosting ready for her to decorate.
Addie had a blast frosting the cookies
We had a little fun with the cookies too
Sunday morning we wanted to do a little sight seeing, we stopped by M&M's World and payed way too much for some cool colored M&Ms.
Addie even got to meet the yellow M&M.
After M&M world we headed over to the Coca Cola store, where they have anything and everything you would ever want with the Coke brand on it, from dishes to coats and hats. We just wanted to do the tastes from around the world, they have 16 different soda/juices from all around the world. I thought it was really cool to see what other people enjoy to drink half way around the world.
Our trays of all the different flavors
Even Addie did some taste testing
Brian liked the Manzana from Mexico, his least favorite was the soda from Italy
Next we moved on to conservatory at the Bellagio where I guess every quarter they have a new display set up. Everything is decorated with flowers or edible things. It was AMAZING!
Brian, Addie, me, and Aunt Joyce
Santa in a very colorful airplane
I thought this snowman was awesome.. The bottom was made out of flowers and the mittens were made out of cranberries.
This is the largest chocolate fountain in the US.
Before we headed out of town we stopped by the MGM Grand to see the tigers that are on display. Addie got up close and personal with one...there was glass in between them of course..
Addie and Aunt Joyce were two little teas in a pod
We had a little walk back to our car so Addie hitched a ride on daddy's shoulders
We finally hit the road around 2 p.m. and hit a little traffic jam at the Hoover Dam, we were held up for about an hour and a half. After traffic let up and we got moving again we saw the sign we had been waiting 2 1/2 days for...
We had a wonderful trip visiting family and seeing some new sights. Thank you to everyone for your hospitality, helping this trip to go a bit smoother.
