On the road again...

We decided to leave a day early because there was a huge snow storm coming in. We headed out around noon on Saturday and headed for Salt Lake City to stay with my cousin Jen again. We arrived safely around 5ish, ate dinner at Cafe rio ( one of our favorite places), and headed to Jen's house. After hanging out for a bit we thought it would be fun to go see the temple square lights. Addie didn't want to come, she wanted to stay and play with Gma Lynne. In the end I am glad she didn't come cause it was VERY cold.

Addie LOVED Gma Lynne

We had a great time in SLC...Thanks Jen for everything...love you tons..
The next morning we headed for Vegas to crash at Pat and Joyce's house. Joyce is always great about keeping Addie busy with something. When we got in she had cookies and frosting ready for her to decorate.

Addie had a blast frosting the cookies

We had a little fun with the cookies too

Sunday morning we wanted to do a little sight seeing, we stopped by M&M's World and payed way too much for some cool colored M&Ms.

Addie even got to meet the yellow M&M.

After M&M world we headed over to the Coca  Cola store, where they have anything and everything you would ever want with the Coke brand on it, from dishes to coats and hats. We just wanted to do the tastes from around the world, they have 16 different soda/juices from all around the world. I thought it was really cool to see what other people enjoy to drink half way around the world.
Our trays of all the different flavors

Even Addie did some taste testing

Brian liked the Manzana from Mexico, his least favorite was the soda from Italy

Next we moved on to conservatory at the Bellagio where I guess every quarter they have a new display set up. Everything is decorated with flowers or edible things. It was AMAZING!

Santa in a very colorful airplane

I thought this snowman was awesome.. The bottom was made out of flowers and the mittens were made out of cranberries.

This is the largest chocolate fountain in the US.

Before we headed out of town we stopped by the MGM Grand to see the tigers that are on display. Addie got up close and personal with one...there was glass in between them of course..

Addie and Aunt Joyce were two little teas in a pod

We had a little walk back to our car so Addie hitched a ride on daddy's shoulders

We finally hit the road around 2 p.m. and hit a little traffic jam at the Hoover Dam, we were held up for about an hour and a half. After traffic let up and we got moving again we saw the sign we had been waiting 2 1/2 days for...

We had a wonderful trip visiting family and seeing some new sights. Thank you to everyone for your hospitality, helping this trip to go a bit smoother.
